CoreByte Minecraft Rules

Welcome to CoreByte.

The server is designed around freedom, risk, and player-driven gameplay.

Griefing and raiding are part of the experience — but only within the rules.

• If land is not claimed, it is not protected.

• If it is claimed, it is fully protected.

• We do not tolerate cheating, exploiting, or abusing systems.
+ Cheating will result in a Permanent Ban & No Appeal.

• We do not tolerate loophole abuse or bad-faith behaviour.

NOTE

Rules cannot cover every possible situation.

If a player is clearly acting to harm the server, community, or economy, Staff will take action accordingly.

By playing on CoreByte, you agree to follow these rules and respect staff decisions.

No NSFW / Inappropriate Content

We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content in this community.
This includes any form of sexually explicit, pornographic, suggestive, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content that is not suitable for all audiences.

- Sexual Content: Nudity, sexually suggestive imagery, explicit text, or discussions of a graphic nature.

- Pornography: Links, images, videos, or references to adult websites or content.

- Gore/Violence: Excessive or graphic violence, real or fictional depictions of harm, blood, or death.

- Sexual jokes or innuendos: Even if presented as humour, such content is not allowed.

- Profile content: NSFW avatar (skins) or usernames will not be tolerated.

- Indirect sharing: Using symbols, blurred images, or coded language to imply NSFW themes.

Note:
"Suggestive" or "borderline" content that can be interpreted as NSFW will be treated as NSFW and is equally prohibited.

If we detect or are made aware that you are sending, sharing or distributing any form of NSFW content within this community, immediate action will be taken.

Violations of this rule may result in one or more of the following:

- Formal warning

- Temporary ban

- Permanent ban from the CoreByte Network in-game

- Permanent IP-Ban & network-wide ban applied across all CoreByte platforms

Severe cases or repeated violations may result in an instant permanent ban without prior warning.

This rule is strictly enforced to ensure CoreByte remains a safe and welcoming environment for all users.

️ Gameplay Rules

• No cheating (x-ray, hacked clients, exploits, etc.)

• No duping or abusing bugs — report them instead

• Griefing & raiding is allowed ONLY on UNCLAIMED land

• No claim trapping or baiting

+ Claiming around another player’s claim = NOT allowed

+ Any attempt to trap claims = "Trapping Abuse"

• No abuse of game mechanics to make areas unplayable

(e.g. traps, exploits, or unfair setups)

Economy & Trading Rules

• No scam listings, fake items, or misleading prices, etc.

• Orders must be completed honestly (no baiting)  

• No exploiting /order or auction systems for profit  

• No alt abuse to boost orders, auctions, or money  

• Staff may remove broken or unfair listings  

Abuse of economic systems = punishment + rollback

️ Claims & Griefing Clarification

• Claims are 100% protected — any bypass attempts to exploit vulnerabilities will result in a permanent ban from the network.

• Unclaimed land is free game (griefing, raiding allowed)

• Claim trapping or claim baiting is not allowed.
+ If you CLAIM "around" someone else's CLAIM is FORBIDDEN & therefore considered as "Trapping Abuse"

• Do not use claims to harm or disrupt other players intentionally

(e.g. blocking, trapping, flooding, or causing lag near their claim)

️ Performance & Server Health

• No lag machines or intentional server lag (instant network IP ban)

• Keep farms optimised (no excessive entities/redstone spam)

• Staff may remove or limit builds that harm performance

Accounts & Fair Play

• No alt abuse or ban evasion.
+ Alt abuse includes using multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages, such as:
+ Boosting money, jobs, or rewards
+ Bypassing limits, cooldowns, or restrictions
+ Gaining extra claims, storage, or resources
+ Manipulating /ah, /orders, or the economy
+ Avoiding punishments or restrictions

• Owning alternate accounts is allowed, but using them for advantage is not.

• Any attempt to bypass a ban will result in a permanent network-wide blacklist

• No using multiple accounts for unfair advantage

Chat & Behaviour

• Respect all players - no harassment or toxicity 

• No spamming or flooding chat
+ This includes: Posting lyrics, repetitive messages & excessive caps

• No advertising other servers (instant network ban)

Usernames & Skins

• No inappropriate, offensive, or controversial names or skins

• Staff may request changes if necessary
